Description

In a bibliography entry for a book that was published as part of a series, SeriesInfo is a wrapper for bibliographic information about the series as a whole.

Processing expectations

Formatted inline.

(4.0) Future Changes

SeriesInfo may be discarded in DocBook V4.0. With the creation of BiblioSet, SeriesInfo is now simply a special case of BiblioSet.

If it persists, AuthorBlurb and Affiliation will be removed from the inline content of SeriesInfo. A new wrapper element will be created to associate this information with authors, editors, and other contributors.
